Ryde pier, the gate way to the Sunshine Isle, well thats what the tourist board would have you believe, in reality its a run down sea side town that has seen its best times 1860's to 1950's and now needs a lot of imaginative refurbishment and money spent on it.

Thanks Tess, I still can't see my style yet myself, in my weddings I prefer close up portrait images and can see that in my work.
To be honest I do very little photography such as this, the blog is making me shoot out of my comfort zone and I find myself looking all the time for a shot.

Wilky, I see a style that's unique also...I'm trying to think of the right way to describe it...detailed and descriptive? Your landscape photos have so much to them - they tell a story of their own. I really like this one. You may see it as a run-down, has-been town, but you made it look lovely.
Great shot Wilky! If I had to say how you shoot, it would be moody, at least off the horse track. Beutiful though
great image.. reminds me of a bit of Brassai's photos of Paris.
