Lugly st and the cleaned spire of St. Thomas's Church












This is one of the older parts of Newport and you can still see glimpse of how it must have looked several hundred years ago.

The Church has just had major cleaning and restoration work carried out to it and very nice it now looks.

wow, so pretty. Something about historic buildings that just beat anything they can come up with in modern towns.

Makes me sad as Sandra and I went to visit the ruins of a Methodist Church in her City. Sad how a beautiful structure is left to decay and rot . . .

That is just a beautiful church! Beautiful, I agree with Tess we just dont have buildings and sights like that over here.
