Watchbell Lane, Newport

This is one of the oldest parts of Newport and has the original Watchbell still in its place where the night watchmen would ring the hour or call the alarm if needed.
http://www.isleofwightholidays4all.co.uk/newport.html some more modern ( crappy) images of the Island.
It amazes me how web sites like the one above uses such crap images for all the world to see.

They should pay you huge sums for your photos of the area!!

I would love to see all this in person. Your photos are great!

I agree with Elli - they should hire you to take the pictures for their websites. Beautiful work and great history there.

I'd definitely rather visit your pictures than theirs. Its too bad they don't think about the difference some fabulous pictures woulds make ...

Love #2 So very different from anything we have around here.

Well, everyone else beat me to saying it, but you should offer to do their pictures for a tidy sum. :)
