Bembridge Windmill



This is the Islands only surviving wind mill, built around 1700 and painted by JMW Turner in 1795 it was a working mill up to 1913 and was owned by the same family for most of that time. It is now owned by the National Trust, inside it still has all its working wooden machinery.
