Yarmouth Pier

This was just a dash and snap, as you can see it was tipping down with rain and blowing a gale, the history of the pier can be found here http://www.theheritagetrail.co.uk/piers/yarmouth%20pier.htm The ferry coming in is one of the rust buckets that transport everything to the island

A superb history of Yarmouth from 43AD can be read here http://freespace.virgin.net/iw.history/yarmouth/history.htm

Enjoy,

wilky

My 5 year old son is learning about England right now and so I showed him your blog. We've discussed how you speak English there - but use words differently. So, when I read how the rain was "tipping down" (did I say that correctly?) he giggled. I really enjoy your shots, thank you!
